Chapter 14 of 20

Pending orders

The Pending tab.

The Pending tab lists limit and stop orders that have not filled yet: when they were placed, the symbol, side, type, contracts, price and SL / TP.

  • Change edits the price, size or protection. The dialog checks your levels; for example, on a buy, the stop loss has to sit below the order price or it would trigger the moment the order fills.
  • Cancel asks you to confirm or keep the order. Cancel all cancels every pending order.
Nothing has been charged for pending orders. The fee is only taken when an order fills, and the Desk decides whether to syndicate it at that moment, using the settings the order was sent with.

The screens come from a demonstration account; prices, sizes and amounts are sample data. Estimates, projections and backtests in the Terminal describe how the Desk behaves. They are not promises of future results. Trading involves risk.
